The guests at this year’s gala of the Polish National Press Photo Contest Grand Press Photo 2009 could barely fit into the cinema hall, where not only the awards were handed out, but also the best pictures by Polish photojournalists were presented. His photographs were presented by the chairman of the jury, Spencer Platt, whose photograph from bombed Beirut won the World Press Photo in 2007.
